UNAIDS UNAIDS brings together the resources of the UNAIDS Secretariat and 11 UN System organizations for coordinated and accountable efforts to unite the world against AIDS. UNAIDS Secretariat is structured into two branches: Programme and Management and External Relations. It has Regional Support Teams working in seven regions and 173 countries. The UNAIDS is inviting applications from highly competent individuals for the following Fixed Term position. 

Strategic Information Advisor 

The Strategic Information Advisor (NOC) will support UNAIDS' reinforced and reinvigorated strategic information role focused on assessing progress and identifying programmatic gaps of the county's AIDS response, under the direct supervision of the UNA1DS Country Coordinator(UCC) with technical guidance from the Regional Support Team (RST) and relevant Geneva units and departments. The incumbent will support the prioritization, process and technical aspects of data collection and compilation, and analysis related to epidemiology and the response, in view of informing future programme efforts. The position requires a University degree in public health, epidemiology, statistics and demography with minimum 3 to 6 years of professional work experience in the design, development and operational application of strategic information systems of AIDS programmes in low and middle income country settings.
